NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming

Changing your mind and attitude does change your life

What is NLP?

  • Neuro – refers to the human nervous system including the brain and five senses, how we experience our world
  • Linguistic – communication via verbal and non-verbal languages, how we make sense of our world
  • Programming – the ability to achieve a desired outcome by structuring the neurological and linguistic systems.
NLP is a very effective approach for communication, rapid change and outstanding results used for business and personal success.

NLP can help you break free from negative limiting thoughts and create more productive inner beliefs about yourself and your universe. It is the artful science of communication, influencing others with integrity, a key to learning and obtaining desired results in all areas of life.

NLP is built on the following Four Pillars:

Rapport
Sensory Awareness
Outcome Thinking
Behavioural Flexibility

Kinesiology Consultations

We all have a personal model or map of our world and it is through that model as to how we respond to life’s challenges.
A fundamental assumption of NLP is that “the map is not the territory” this means that we may experience the same event but we will do so differently, according to our personal map of our world. The internal representations we make about an event are different to the event itself. NLP does not change the world moreover it assists you to change the way you observe your own world, assisting you to build a model of your world making you more effective.

First comes Attitude

Anything and everything is possible if you have a mind set that supports your success, if you are not living the life you want... then you may consider changing.

Feedback is the key to success!

There are no failures only feedback, a very powerful assumption to live life by. Everyone makes mistakes, has setbacks, however, your response to those challenges results in the quality of your life.

When you focus and worry about failure, this keeps you in the past, bound and stuck. Ask yourself the following questions to give yourself an opportunity for growth. Think of a time when you ‘failed’, ask yourself:

Where do you start?

  • What do I want to achieve?
  • What have I achieved to date?
  • What’s been the feedback I received?
  • What have I learned from the experience?
  • How can I positively use these outcomes?
  • By what means can I measure my success?
